The carnival is in town! The event space at Central Harbourfront has been filled with the annual funfair known as The Great European Carnival. Just in time for Christmas, the fair will be on for two months, covering the festivities of Chinese New Year celebrations as well.
Title sponsored by AIA, the fair looks right at home next to Hong Kong’s permanent ferris wheel. Central’s office towers, decked with holiday lights, also provide a beautiful backdrop to the carnival.
There are plenty of games and activities for the whole family, including an outdoor skating rink and special cultural exhibits. The fair will also be hosting a number of concerts and festivals during its run. Fun rides from all over the world have been set up on the midway; the only thing missing was a big roller coaster!
If you have the chance, drop by for a visit. The lights are beautiful at night and it’s a great way to start the holidays.
Love your photos!! AIA carnival is always fun 🙂

Yeah it was my first time there and I enjoyed it. Left the rides for the kids, though 😊
