In the heart of Kowloon

Taking advantage of the nice weather, I grabbed my camera and walked around Kowloon today. I started off at Austin MTR station and headed east and north, along Jordan Road and through Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok. Being the weekend, it was incredibly crowded. And with everyone preparing for Chinese New Year celebrations (including throngs of Mainland tourists shopping for souvenirs), this area deserves the reputation of being the most densely populated place on the planet.

The colours, the noise, the bustling activity. To me, this is the real Hong Kong.
