Out and About: Vieux-Québec

As part of my eastern Canada roadtrip, I visited Quebec City, the capital of La Belle Province and the heart of French Canada. Just two hours drive from Montreal, this cultural gem of a city is well worth the trip. I spent most of my time in the historic old city district (as most tourists do) which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vieux-Québec is packed with art galleries, restaurants and cafés, and on this hot summer day was busy with visitors and locals alike enjoying the great weather.

If you’re a visitor to Canada, you simply must come here and experience the uniquely Canadian and Québécois culture of this picturesque city. There’s nothing like it this side of the Atlantic Ocean.
