Travelling from Toronto to Hong Kong on my annual migration to Asia 🙂 allowed for a stopover in Vancouver for a short family visit. The city was experiencing an extended summer with some great weather. With my parents as tour guides, I paid a visit to North Vancouver across the Burrard Inlet.
Lower Lonsdale is a historic waterfront district on the North Shore and is easily reached by public transport via the SeaBus passenger ferry. This tourist destination contains a public market, the Lonsdale Quay Market, similar to the popular downtown Granville Market but on a smaller scale, and not as crowded. Here also are numerous food retailers, restaurants, and specialty shops.

Great images! Just realized your posts are not appearing in my iPhone Reader anymore despite my ‘follow’ing, very odd..

Thanks Deb! Yeah I’ve had issues with the Reader on Android as well. The subscriptions seem to disappear sometimes :-S
