I met Krystal at the Higher Ground Coffee Co. in Belfountain, where she was manning the ice cream stand. Belfountain is a tiny village northwest of Toronto that is particularly popular with motorcycle riders on good-weather weekends, mainly due to the nearby twisty undulating side roads.

Krystal’s cheery personality (and bright lipstick!) really caught my attention, and I decided to ask for her portrait. What a fantastic beaming smile! I took the picture inside the ice cream hut, as the reflected light from the bright sunshine was really nice. I ended up with a great picture, a smile on my face, and an ice cream in my hand 🙂 She also gave me directions to the Caledon Fair which was taking place in the area that weekend. Thank you, Krystal!
