Jill is the minister at the Westminster Presbyterian Church at Smiths Falls, and was introduced to me by Chris, my stranger #9. She was sitting on a bench by the side of the entrance, quietly observing all the commotion (with the chatting volunteers, the bagpipe band and whatnot…). She seemed a little overwhelmed by all the activity, and a bit shy. I thought she didn’t look like the typical church minister, so I asked for her portrait and she happily obliged. I like her blue-grey eyes.
